Biography:
Mansi Shah specializes in intellectual property law in a wide-range of industries and technologies, including software, databases, audio processing, semiconductor devices, microprocessors, memory devices, wireless communications, and networking technology. Ms. Shah has been involved with antitrust investigations in the areas of computer software and wireless communications. Ms. Shah was recently recognized by the Los Angeles County Bar Association, receiving on behalf of Howrey, the Honorable Benjamin Aranda III Outstanding Public Service Award and was named the "2007 Pro Bono Associate of the Year" in Howrey's Irvine Office. Ms. Shah graduated from The George Washington University Law School in May of 2006. While in law school, she was an intern at the United States Patent Trademark Office Board of Appeals and Interferences, and served as the Executive Notes Editor of the American Intellectual Property Law Association Quarterly Journal. Ms. Shah earned her B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego. While attending UC San Diego, Ms. Shah was an intern at Microsoft Corporation as a software test engineer, and worked as a software engineer for BAE Systems in satellite image directories.
